The access to rooms involves walking on a glass floor, which adds a unique twist for those who can handle heights. The hotel has an interesting layout and some eye-catching design elements.
The hotel lacks a private beach and relies on a small public section that fills up quickly. The bathroom odors upon arrival were off-putting, requiring attention. the dining room lacks sufficient air conditioning during the day, making it uncomfortable. The breakfast options were disappointing and the beds could use some serious upgrading to avoid backaches.

The unique glass floor leading to the rooms added an exciting touch to our stay, making it a memorable experience.
Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by poor service at check-in, where we had to wait around 30 minutes despite having a reservation.

i was sooo excited to stay here, but the bathroom stank when i arrived, and the staff took 30 mins to check me in! i expected complimentary spa credits for my troubles but no such luck! breakfast was below par. this could've been a great stay, but alas, it just woudl ve been too simple for them to deliver, it seems.

The blissful beach escape
Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore was a daily delight. The staff were exceptionally warm, making our stay feel like home. The breakfast spread was a feast for the senses, showcasing local flavors that fueled our adventures each day.
The lack of air conditioning in common areas made it quite uncomfortable during the afternoons. we encountered a hiccup with the elevator, which was under repair and inconvenient for my elderly parents. This lessened our overall convenience during the stay.

Unawatuna vibes 🌊🌴
Loved the lekker ocean view from our room, such a stunning sight to wake up to! The brekkie spread had a bunch of local goodies, which was great. the temp-controlled pool was a chilled spot to relax and sip a cocktail. Definitely a vibe!
But, ja, the beach access isn’t awesome, some big stones block it from the water, so that was a bit of a bummer.

I really loved how the hotel provided a buggy to the beach, making it super easy to access the sand. The infinity pool with fantastic views and the relaxing massage service were just perfect for winding down. Just a heads up, it would be nice if there were a few more sunshades on the terrace for those sunny days! 🌞

Stunning views and excellent staff service
I had a great stay where the view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. The staff made my experience remarkable, particularly Mahinda in the restaurant, who was attentive and helped create a warm atmosphere. The food was tasty, especially the grilled seafood plate, which I couldn’t get enough of. some aspects of the hotel, like the air conditioning, could use some updates.
